About Us
Recovery Point Ministry is a faith-based, non-profit organization which provides a nurturing environment for women who need to step out of their pain from destructive behaviors and habits to rebuild their lives through the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
The goal of addiction recovery is a challenging one. It requires dedication, persistence, optimism, and prayer. It also requires the financial support of our churches and community.
Addiction is an illness. On one level, addiction is an illness like any other. However, unlike any other illness, its effects result in destructive patterns of behavior that affect both the addict and the people close to them in a way that no other illness does. One of the most important components of effective treatment is a deep and radical self-examination of one's life.
No other illness demands the stripping of a soul in such a fashion, one that exposes the addict's past delusions, dependencies and weaknesses, along with the trail of destruction caused by the addiction. Yet this is the way the addict must begin to rebuild their life, by letting go of control of their old life completely and handing control of their lives from that point to Jesus Christ. The addict must decide to turn their will, their lives, their EVERYTHING over to the care of God. The majority of addiction treatment programs are based on the 12 step Alcoholics Anonymous program. At Recovery Point Ministry we blend the learning of these original 12 steps with the teachings of the Bible and the life-saving and life-transforming power of Jesus Christ. We believe that this is why we have a high success rate at Recovery Point Ministry and why we make such a strong connection between faith in Jesus and working the 12 steps to recovery.
As of today, we have a 50% success rate. God has been at work at RPM and we need your continued financial support to keep our doors open. We pray we can continue to help those ladies who need a little help to find their way.
